Roadmaster Diode 7 to 6 Wire Coil Kit Installation - 2020 Lincoln Nautilus

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit here on a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus. So what is a diode wiring kit and why do we need it Well, it's actually pretty simple. It's gonna be a required component for our flat-tow setup. It's gonna take the signals from the motorhome lights and transfer them over to the vehicle, because in a lot of cases, the lights on our motorhome are not gonna be visible because we have the vehicle blocking them. Therefore, we need a way to transmit the signals to let other motorists out on the road know what signals we're gonna be making, so we can arrive at our destination safe and sound without breaking any laws. So the Roadmaster diode wiring kit certainly isn't the only option to transmit the signals from the motorhome to the towed vehicle. more

Roadmaster Universal Diode Wiring Kit Installation - 2019 Lincoln Nautilus

Hi there, Lincoln owners and your 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster diode wiring kit. This gets available in several configurations depending on the type of wiring that you're gonna wanna use to connect your motorhome to your vehicle. We're using a seven to six round and a coiled option, but there's also a hybrid, which is coiled on one end and straight on the other. That's nice if you're using an extension like this, but you have a tow bar that has channels for your wiring, such as the Roadmaster's Falcon All Terrain. If you don't need the extra coil then on the end, but you have channels, there's just a straight option available as well. And then you could use just a 4-pole on your vehicle. more

Roadmaster Diode 7 to 6 Wire Coil Kit Installation - 2013 Lincoln MKX

Rob: Hey everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit on our 2013 Lincoln. Now, whenever you want to flat tow your Lincoln, it's going to be very important to have functioning lights back here, because whenever you're pulling with your motorhome, the car most likely is going to block and move with the tail lights. And when you have something behind you, whether it is a vehicle or a trailer, we got to have those lights so everyone around us knows what's going on. Whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, we're driving at night, all of those signals are very important to safety and making sure that we're staying legal. One of my favorite things about the diodes is the fact that it's not going to change the outward appearance of our Lincoln. Unlike those other kinds, we've all seen them, those magnetic lights, where usually you stick them to the top of the body somewhere, and then definitely we'll get those signals to the back. But that requires an extra step every time we hook up and we want to tow. more
